- Above the fold
- The part of a page visible before the visitor scrolls.
- Call to action (CTA)
- The primary prompt that tells a visitor what to do next.
- Landing page
- A focused page built around a single goal, often the destination of a campaign.
Brand & systems
- Brand system
- The reusable rules — type, color, and components — that keep a brand consistent across touchpoints.
- Design system
- The shared library of UI components and tokens used to build pages quickly and consistently.
Discovery & AI
- SEO
- Search Engine Optimization: structuring a site so search engines can rank and surface it.
- GEO
- Generative Engine Optimization: structuring a site so AI assistants can find, understand, and cite it.
- llms.txt
- A plain-text file that gives AI agents a concise, curated map of a site.
- Markdown mirror
- A .md version of a page that agents can read without parsing HTML or running JavaScript.
